The ideal candidate meets at least one of the three Illinois DCFS Lead Teacher qualification options:
✔️ 60 semester hours of college credit from an accredited university, including 6 semester hours directly related to child care/development, OR ✔️ 30 semester hours of college credit plus 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center, including 6 semester hours in child care/development, OR ✔️ A valid Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or a Gateways to Opportunity Level 3 or higher Credential.
