About this role

The Role

We’re looking for a mid to senior level Manufacturing Engineer who wants more than a desk and a spreadsheet. You’ll work side by side with some of the best engineers in the world on front-line products, often before they reach the market. You’ll be customer-facing, the person who turns a brilliant design into something that can be built reliably, repeatedly, and at scale.

This job is for the engineer who wants it all: hands-on troubleshooting on the floor in the morning, design reviews with a customer at lunch, and a pilot line coming to life by the end of the week.

What You’ll Do

- Lead manufacturing engineering for complex electro-mechanical assemblies, from early design input through pilot builds and full production.

- Partner directly with customers, applying DFM, DFA, and DFT principles so their designs are buildable, testable, and cost-effective.

- Develop, validate, and launch new manufacturing processes, then keep improving them through continuous improvement initiatives.

- Lead multiple cross-functional teams at once, and supervise and mentor other engineers and technicians.

- Provide cGMP direction and guidance to operations, especially for medical and other regulated programs.

- Break complex builds into clear work breakdown structures (WBS), and teach others to execute them with confidence.

- Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems at their root.

- Apply and optimize secondary operations including pad printing, silk screening, ultrasonic welding and inserting, and thermal welding and inserting.

What You Bring

- A B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Manufacturing Engineering.

- Strong, proven experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT).

- Excellent electro-mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting instincts.

- Working knowledge of manufacturing secondary operations.

- A track record of leading teams, supervising others, and guiding operations through cGMP requirements.

- Clear, confident verbal and written communication, whether you’re presenting to a customer or training a new operator.

- A real enjoyment of variety: hands-on work, design, process development, pilot manufacturing, and continuous improvement, all in the same role.

Where You Can Go

We don’t just hire engineers. We grow them.

- A clear path up: structured engineering levels that lead all the way to Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

- Room to move: opportunities across our plants and other divisions, so your career can grow in more than one direction.

- Investment in you: ongoing job training and development, backed by a company with significant year-over-year growth.

- Stability you can count on: a debt-free, privately held company with more than a century of staying power and a diverse customer portfolio across five major markets.
