About this role

Description

About us:
We own both sides of the ad creative experience for Amazon DSP, the advertiser experience (AX) where advertisers build and manage creatives across display, video, and streaming TV, and the customer experience (CX) where those creatives render and deliver personalized content to hundreds of millions of shoppers at impression time. We operate the full creative lifecycle from authoring through real-time serving, and are actively deploying agentic AI systems that autonomously generate, validate, and activate creatives across both surfaces.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions that enable new features and improve existing systems, applying sound judgment when making tradeoffs between scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.
- Own the full development lifecycle for major portions of your team's software, including scoping, coding, testing, deployment, and operational support, ensuring root causes of issues are identified and permanently resolved.
- Write clear documentation covering what your software does, how it is constructed and operated, and how it fits into the broader architecture, actively training new team members on these systems.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand business and customer value, ensuring solutions address real needs while evaluating opportunities to leverage generative artificial intelligence tools where appropriate.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing meaningful feedback to engineers across experience levels, and mentor teammates on producing high-quality, maintainable code.

About the team
The team owns the creative authoring and activation platform that powers how advertisers create and deploy ad creatives across video, and streaming TV. The team operates the central orchestration framework, advertiser-facing UIs, bulk upload services scale across WW. The team is at an inflection point, expanding from infrastructure into full advertiser experience ownership, consolidating a fragmented template landscape into reusable primitives, taking on end-to-end video creative tooling for OLV and STV formats, and building a new brand asset management platform that lets advertisers provide brand assets once and activate them across all campaigns.
