Secondary History Teacher (AY2027-2028)

The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge and a passion for engaging students in the subject. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Deliver high-quality History lessons across secondary year levels (IGCSE and IBDP).

- Foster inquiry-based learning and develop students’ historical thinking and analysis

- Design and assess learning experiences that support students’ academic growth

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum design and interdisciplinary learning

- Contribute to the wider school community through co-curricular and pastoral support

- Carry out additional duties as required by Secondary School leadership, contributing to the broader school community and corporate life.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in History, Humanities, Social Sciences, or a closely related field

- Teaching qualification/license in the teaching subject

- At least 3 years of secondary teaching experience at international schools

- Experience teaching IB Diploma History at SL and/or HL

- Ability to deliver inquiry-based, student-centred learning

- Ability to differentiate for students with different levels of ability.
