Application Engineer - India

Job Description (General Summary)

Intralox India is currently seeking an Application Engineer to support Sales and Customers in India. We are looking for someone who achieves satisfaction professionally by influencing value-added technical ideas and helping customers   achieve their goals. The successful candidate will be working in a multi-cultural, industry-focused, teamwork environment providing technical and product recommendations in support of the team’s sales initiatives.

### Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Core Responsibilities:
- Technical evaluation of sales opportunities, reviewing application data and determining product suitability.
- Promoting Intralox solutions to clients technically alongside field sales.
- Taking technical lead on consulting and training customers on Intralox conveyor design guidelines.
- Evaluation and optimization of conveyance and preparation of guidelines for conveyor retrofits.
- Assisting with after-sale activities by applying technical skills on installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Working together with application engineers worldwide and other team members on sales opportunities or resolving issues.
- Attend tradeshows as Intralox product specialist.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering/technology field.
- 3-5 years of work experience in application engineering or similar role with direct customer contact.
- Knowledge/experience in food processing or line automation equipment is a plus.
- A self-managed and self-motivated individual with strong ownership and commitment who excels in a global team environment.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout India.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with great attention to details.
- Ability to create drawings in AutoCAD or similar.
- Flexible working schedule, available to support colleagues and customers after regular business hours.
- Confident presentation skills for medium to large groups of customers.
- Customer oriented with problem solver personality.
