Knowledge Manager (KM) / MES Engineer

Client: ABB – INOPC PA
Position: Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 3–8+ Years
Domain: Industrial Automation / Process Automation

Job Responsibilities

- Develop, configure and maintain
applications using ABB Knowledge Manager (KM) .
- Work on MES application development,
system installation, upgrades and commissioning.
- Develop KPI calculations, production
reports, HMI screens and dashboards.
- Integrate third-party systems using
OPC, Modbus and file-based interfaces.
- Perform database queries, data
extraction and reporting using Oracle DB and SQL.
- Support MES-to-ERP integration and
data exchange.
- Conduct application testing,
troubleshooting, site commissioning and post-commissioning support.
- Prepare technical documentation and
ensure compliance with project quality and cybersecurity standards.

Mandatory Skills

- MES Application Development –
Minimum 2 years
- ABB Knowledge Manager (KM) – 1–3
years preferred
- Oracle Database and SQL
- OPC / Modbus / Third-party System
Integration
- KPI Reporting and Dashboard
Development
- Industrial Automation / Process
Automation experience

Good to Have

- Power BI, Tableau or Python
dashboards
- ABB KM Toolkit / OMS
- MES and ERP Integration
- Windows Server environment

Experience Requirements

- Project Engineer: 3+ years
- Senior Project Engineer: 7+ years

Preferred
Candidates: Professionals with hands-on experience in ABB Knowledge Manager, MES
application development, industrial automation, SQL and third-party system
integration.

Joining Preference: Immediate to early
joiners preferred.
