About this role
Job Location: Nairobi, Kenya.
About the role:
The role holder is in charge of coordinating and overseeing the end-to-end execution of inverter activations, ensuring timely implementation, effective vendor coordination, and accurate inventory and dispatch processes. It involves monitoring activation requests, assisting vendors with setup and troubleshooting, conducting warehouse and dispatch audits, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports to ensure activations are completed efficiently, within schedule, and in line with operational standards.
What you would be expected to do:
- Own activation execution: track every inverter activation request from initiation to completion, hold timelines against plan, escalate delays before they affect the schedule, and act as the primary point of contact between internal teams and field or vendor partners during activations.
- Man-age vendor coordination: assist vendors through on-site and remote activation setup, resolve basic setup issues directly, escalate technical problems to the right owner, and confirm vendors have the access, tools and information they need before an activation starts.
- Run the warehouse activation audit: verify that inverter units and accessories pulled for activation match approved requests, check stock accuracy on activation related items, and flag discrepancies such as missing units, wrong models or damaged stock directly to the warehouse team.
- Run the dispatch audit: confirm dispatched activation items match the intended delivery or activation location, cross check dispatch records against the activation schedule, and identify and report dispatch errors or delays as they occur.
- Maintain documentation and reporting: follow up with vendors for activation reports and confirmations, and keep organized, audit ready records of activation status, vendor reports and audit findings.
You might be a strong candidate if you:
- Posses strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers, stock records and dispatch data.
- Demonstrate the ability to track multiple vendor relationships and activation schedules at the same time without losing accuracy.
- Show clear written communication for structured reporting and escalation.
- Are comfortable working directly with field, vendor and warehouse teams, not only from a desk.
- Have sound judgment on when and how to escalate a problem before it becomes a delay.
- Are organized and consistent under a recurring operational cadence.
- Demonstrate familiarity with spreadsheets for tracking and audit work is required. Prior exposure to inventory, stock or dispatch systems is an advantage but not mandatory.
