About this role
The Production Operator is responsible for safely performing assigned manufacturing and production activities while ensuring products are produced on time and meet established quality standards. He/She follows work instructions and process requirements, conducts equipment and product inspections, maintains accurate production records, operates and cares for production equipment and measuring tools, supports new employee training, and promotes a safe, organized, and efficient work environment through adherence to 7S principles, quality standards, and company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure workplace safety
- Carry out all production tasks assigned by the production floor supervisor and team leaders
- ensuring they are completed on time and to the required quality standards;
- Adhere to process discipline and strictly follow the requirements of the work instructions
- during production;
- Accurately maintain all types of production records, labels, and reports;
- Conduct equipment inspections before starting work and confirm that there are no
- abnormalities before proceeding;
- Be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all personal equipment, tooling,
- instruments, and measuring devices;
- Conduct rigorous self-inspections of products in accordance with operational
- requirements, and accurately complete all quality records;
- Train new employees;
- Implement the 7S principles: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety, and Save
- Comply with all company labor discipline regulations
- Other temporary tasks assigned by Leaders.
Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:
- Professional Knowledge: Proficient in following operating procedures; familiar with completing various production records; knowledgeable about 7S principles and the maintenance of equipment and tooling; knowledgeable about the use of measuring instruments; and possesses a strong sense of quality and safety.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
