About this role
Payments happen everywhere. In stores, online, and across countless daily interactions. Ingenico helps businesses accept payments securely and seamlessly around the world. With operations in more than 30 countries, 4,000+ experts and over 45 years of experience, Ingenico is a trusted global leader in payment acceptance.
Join our EMEA Professional Services team and turn payment technology into live, certified solutions for customers across Germany and EMEA.
The Impact You’ll Make
- Bring new payment solutions live for merchants, banks, acquirers and partners in Germany and across EMEA, from kick-off to production rollout.
- Be the trusted point of contact between customers, acquirers/processors, partners and our technical teams.
- Make sure every deployment is secure, compliant (PCI, EMV, scheme rules) and delivered on scope, time and budget.
- Help shape how EMEA Professional Services delivers, with reusable integration processes, templates and lessons learned.
What You Will Do
- Manage end-to-end delivery of payment software and Professional Services projects: Android/POS application deployment, payment terminal rollouts, TMS configuration, ECR/POS integrations (incl. ZVT) and host/acquirer connectivity.
- Own project planning, scope, budget, milestones, resources, dependencies, risks, issues and change management from kick-off through production deployment and handover.
- Coordinate software development, QA, security/compliance, terminal/hardware, operations, support and customer technical teams.
- Drive certification and acceptance: test planning, defect follow-up, acquirer/processor validation, card-scheme and domestic-scheme (girocard) certification and production readiness.
- Deliver customer documentation: solution and integration specifications, test evidence, certification packs, deployment plans, training and operational handover.
- Act as the main customer-facing contact, with clear status reporting, escalation management and executive-level communication when needed.
- Ensure delivery complies with PCI requirements, security standards, payment regulations and Ingenico governance, and keep projects up to date in our internal tools.
- Continuously improve our delivery practices, reusable payment integration processes, tools and templates.
What Helps You Succeed
- 7–10 years of project management in software, payment technology, fintech, banking, acquiring, POS or transaction processing, ideally on customer-facing integrations involving payment terminals; a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Information Systems or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of the card transaction lifecycle, EMV (L1/L2/L3) and acquirer/host certification, terminal-to-host communication and TMS, plus the German ecosystem (girocard, ZVT); awareness of PCI DSS/PTS, P2PE and SCA.
- Confidence with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery and with managing several projects, vendors and stakeholders across countries; a PMP, PRINCE2 or Scrum certification is a plus, not a requirement.
- Fluent German and English, written and spoken, and the ability to translate technical topics into clear business impact.
Location: Germany (German office / hybrid), close to our technology teams in Cologne.
Languages: Fluent German and English are mandatory.
