Hyundai Engineering America is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support the Hanwha Philly Shipyard Expansion Project, one of the region's largest industrial development projects.
This role will lead field construction activities, coordinate subcontractors and project stakeholders, and help ensure successful project execution through a strong commitment to safety, quality, schedule performance, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
- Lead daily field construction activities and site operations.
- Coordinate subcontractors, labor, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor project progress and drive schedule performance.
- Review drawings, specifications, and construction requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain field reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Support project startup, commissioning, punch list, and closeout activities.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- 10+ years of construction management experience.
- Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, EPC, or heavy construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, quality control, and safety management.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD or Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale industrial, manufacturing, shipyard, or EPC projects.
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and field disciplines.
- Familiarity with commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities.
Work Location
This position is based on-site at the Hanwha Philly Shipyard Expansion Project in Philadelphia, PA. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required based on project needs.
