About ZF:
In the Business Unit Off-Highway of ZF bundles its activities for the product lines. Construction Machinery Systems, Agricultural Machinery Systems and Material Handling Systems. We are looking for a Material Planner who is responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the uninterrupted supply of materials from Asian suppliers, primarily based in India - Coimbatore, to support manufacturing operations at the ZF Passau plant.
What you can look forward to as Material Planner (m/f/d):
- Manage material planning and delivery schedules for Asian suppliers supporting the Passau plant.
- Coordinate supplier commitments through SupplyOn and follow up on material deliveries.
- Ensure uninterrupted material availability for production and assembly operations.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock coverage, consumption trends, and forecast accuracy.
- Analyze supply chain KPIs and implement improvement actions.
- Manage supplier performance, delivery reliability, and escalation activities.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Assembly, Logistics, Quality, Goods Receiving, and Engineering teams.
- Drive digitalization and process improvements using SupplyOn, SAP and TOMS platforms.
- Conduct supplier visits to strengthen relationships, review performance, and resolve supply issues
Your Profile as Material Planner (m/f/d):
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in Material Planning or Supply Chain, preferably in manufacturing/automotive.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory management, forecasting, and supplier coordination.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, and production planning processes.
- Proficient in SAP (R/3/S4 HANA), MS Excel, and supply chain planning tools.
- Ability to manage supply risks, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives
