REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE
(TEMPORARY PART TIME)
POSITION OVERVIEW:
One (1) temporary part time Registered Practical Nurse opportunity is available at the Palmerston & District Hospital, site of North Wellington Health Care.
This position is unionized with OPSEU.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
- BCLS Certification
- Medication Administration Course
- Updated IV course and IV Med Administration
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
- Demonstrated lifelong learner
- Team player
- Satisfactory performance and attendance required
- Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
- Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired
HOURS OF WORK:
- Must be available to work all shifts and 2 out of 4 weekends as per Collective Agreement
- As per Department Schedule
SALARY: $39.33 - $40.85 per hour
