About this role
Performs clinical tests in anyone of or a combination of areas of specialization depending on the size and scope of the laboratory activity. Maybe assigned to or receiving supervision from Chief Technician.
- Valid DOH/DHA or MOH License as Histo Technologist to work in UAE.
- B.Sc. in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent qualification requiring not less than 3 years training course. And one year emphasis of the curriculum in the field of sub specialty in the basic qualification curriculum or certification by ASCP in the specialty. M.Sc. / Post Graduate in that specialty from an accredited program leading to registration with ASCP/CSMLS or equivalent.
- Not less than two (2) years of Medical Laboratory experience in Histopath procedures are required for Bachelor degree holders. If Post Graduate / M.Sc. then one (1) year of Medical Laboratory experience in Histopath experience is required.
- Currently licensed in country of origin and with HAAD license to practice in Abu Dhabi UAE.
- Fluent in spoken & written English, Arabic language is desirable, but not essential.
- Ability to learn and handle automation & IT programs is desirable but not essential.
