You will work directly with clients and across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Sales, Solution Consulting, Implementations, Client Services and Support to identify market opportunities, strengthen adoption and advance lending capabilities that meet the needs of a diverse financial institution client base.

You will lead Lending Client Advisory Groups and strategic client engagement, using deep lending expertise to shape multi-year roadmaps across servicing, payments, collateral, documentation, reporting, accounting and core processing. You will connect client and market needs with go-to-market execution, adoption and revenue objectives.

What you’ll do:

- Define and drive multi-year product roadmaps for retail and commercial lending, with clear client outcomes, commercial targets, adoption objectives and measures of success.
- Serve as a product leader and domain expert across the lending lifecycle, with deep knowledge of retail and commercial lending, servicing applications and operational workflows.
- Lead Lending Client Advisory Groups and strategic executive client discussions, synthesizing feedback from a diverse client base into scalable product priorities and investment decisions.
- Develop go-to-market plans in partnership with Sales, Marketing and other stakeholders, aligning roadmap delivery with market positioning, launch readiness, adoption and revenue objectives.
- Identify and cultivate pilot and early-adopter clients for new lending capabilities; use client validation to refine product direction, demonstrate market fit and develop strong client references.
- Evaluate market, regulatory, technology and competitive trends and translate them into product strategies, investment priorities and commercial opportunities.
- Translate the needs of banks, credit unions, Farm Credit institutions and other financial institutions into product capabilities that address broader market needs while balancing reliability, modernization and client commitments.
- Develop business cases and advocate for product investments using clear market, client and commercial justification, including evaluation of build, buy and partner alternatives.
- Partner with Engineering and Architecture to translate lending strategy into executable product plans and articulate how product capabilities, architecture and integrations create customer value.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Pricing, Billing and Operations to establish commercial plans, monitor adoption and revenue performance, and adjust product or go-to-market strategies based on outcomes.
- Track portfolio performance against client, adoption and commercial objectives and use data and AI-enabled analysis to strengthen market, competitive and investment decisions.
- Mentor Product Managers and contribute to consistent product management practices, strong commercial acumen and standards of product excellence across the team.
- Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.

Experience you’ll need to have:

- 10+ years of experience in financial services, lending technology, lending operations or product management.
- 10+ years of experience working with financial institutions and lending organizations across retail, commercial, agricultural or related lending segments.
- 8+ years of experience developing product strategies, multi-year product roadmaps and prioritized product investments for financial technology solutions.
- 8+ years of experience translating client needs, market trends and operational requirements into product requirements, investment priorities and measurable business outcomes.
- Experience developing business cases, establishing commercial or adoption objectives, evaluating competing investment priorities and communicating product decisions to executive stakeholders.
- Experience leading strategic client engagements, advisory groups, market-validation activities or early-adopter programs.
- Experience with lending servicing applications and the integration of lending capabilities with core account processing, payments, documents, data and reporting solutions.
- Experience partnering across Product, Engineering, Sales and other functions to bring products or capabilities to market.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, finance, technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

- Deep experience leading product management for retail, consumer and commercial lending technology.
- Experience working with banks, credit unions and Farm Credit institutions and understanding the differing lending needs of these client segments.
- Experience modernizing established financial services technology platforms while maintaining reliability and existing client commitments.
- Experience with product pricing, commercialization, revenue planning and portfolio performance management.
- Experience identifying and managing pilot clients and building early-adoption programs for new financial technology capabilities.
- Experience evaluating partnerships or third-party solutions as part of a broader lending product strategy.
- Experience applying AI-enabled analysis to market evaluation, competitive analysis, product decision-making or commercial performance.
- Experience using Pragmatic Institute, Pragmatic Marketing or a similar product management methodology.
