Laboratory Technician

Join our team in a role of Lab Technician in our Pryor, OK site. In this role you will supports manufacturing operations by providing timely and accurate test results, maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting quality data, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role you will be:

- Responsible for running entry level and/or routine analytical test procedures on samples

submitted to the laboratory,

- Prepare samples for testing; carry out detailed instructions; coordinate simultaneous

activities without loss of meaningful results,

- Assist production personnel in troubleshooting quality-related issues,
- Support investigations of product nonconformances,

- Maintain accurate records of measurements,
- Make appropriate observations involved in work assignments,

- Recognize when additional advice or help is needed,
- Distribute results according to issued instructions or procedures,
- Assisting in other laboratory activities as needed,
- Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives,
- Creating a safe and pleasant work environment and follow company safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience as a laboratory technician.
- Completed degree in chemical engineering, chemistry or equivalent program is preferred
- Must be able to follow instructions, perform technical tasks using a variety of laboratory equipment and computers.
- Must have high attention to detail and maintain orderly and clean work area.
- Ability to work in the team and collaborate cross functionally.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to handle laboratory chemicals safely.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to work on 12 hour rotating shift schedule
