Purpose

To support in the supply of Givaudan produced ingredients to our compounding and distribution sites around the globe. You will be managing a portfolio of materials produced in the region as well as providing support to other regions as required. This position is responsible for collaborating closely with Local, Regional & Global functions across our worldwide footprint to guarantee product availability and optimize inventory levels to meet internal and external customer expectations.

Core Responsibilities

Function Management

- Plan and manage finished good ingredients supply:  Monitor supply and distribution of products
- Manage Stock Transfer Orders to affiliate sites
- Optimize the inventory and availability of products
- Resolve or escalate issues related to customer orders (internal and external, working with production, Givaudan Business Solutions, customer care front office, and regional and global affiliates as required.)
- For critical ingredients create and execute global allocation plans. Coordinate actions and communications with the main stakeholders: Local Planning, Business Solutions team, Manufacturing, Sales and Supply Chain
- Work with stakeholders on preventive actions, monitoring out of stock projections and mitigating risk exposure
- Participate in critical ingredient review meetings
- Achieve and maintain service level targets.
- Ensure alignment, communication and follow-up within the organization

- Work to Givaudan’s standards of quality, safety and industrial hygiene and good practices.
- Work in a methodical and structured way with a focus on customer needs and service.
- Identify improvement measures and opportunities using continuous improvement principles.
- Contribute to delivering the company and department KPIs.
- Establish a strong connection with the Pedro Escobedo Operations teams, our Givaudan Business Solution centre as well as with other business partners within Givaudan.
- Capability to work in a complex organization and get the benefit of that

Academic Background

- Preferred Business Admin, Chemical or Engineering background, supply chain or related discipline.

Professional Experience

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain function within international companies.
- Supply Chain expertise with End-to-End process understanding
- Knowledge of Fragrance products, Ingredient manufacturing an asset
- Working experience in the fragrance market an asset

Technical Skills

- SAP knowledge, BI, BOA tools, advanced Excel knowledge is a must
- Able to work in a matrix environment, in a team or independently and to interact with diverse stakeholders
- Rational decision-making
- Languages: Fluency in Spanish, English
- Excellent communication & command skills
- Accountability, initiative and integrity
- Curious and open to learn, change and improve
