About the location:

On one side, the Mediterranean Sea glistens in the sun; on the other, a dynamic metropolis buzzes with life. This stunning resort-style hotel opened in June 2007 and has a combination of classic hotel design and modern and contemporary beach suites and villas. Our hotel is connected to a shopping mall, it has 154 rooms including 31 Suites, 30 Beach Suites and 6 Villas with private pools, a private beach, a sea water infinity beach pool and a heated indoor pool, Spa and Fitness Center, and 10 food and beverage venues including an open-air 350 seat beach restaurant.

Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria is looking for Director of Food & Beverage to provide leadership and management for the Food & Beverage Division by establishing plans of character, integrity, and quality which result in the long-range continued growth and profitability of the division and Hotel.
What will you do
##
- ## Manages the selection, training and development in the Food & Beverage Division through effective management and leadership to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met, long-range strategic planning for division’s operation.
- ## Works closely and cooperatively with the General Manager and Planning Committee to design effective menus, wine lists, and amenity options while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price.
- ## Control labor and operating expenses through effective planning, budgeting, purchasing decisions, policy making, and inventory control while focusing on creative cost control and revenue generation solutions to maximize profit in the division and hotel.
- ## The ability to be visible in the operation, recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons through effective marketing and personal relationships.

What will you bring
- ## College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or business administration, or equivalent experience is required.
- ## We are looking for a candidate that has 1-2 years’ experience as Director of Food & Beverage or 3-4 years’ experience as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage with upscale luxury brands.
- ## We are looking for an international candidate that is able to demonstrate leadership and management for the Food & Beverage Division by establishing and ensuring company integrity and quality.
- ## Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
