Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

More Than a Job: A Mission

We are looking for a passionate Jigs and Tool Engineer to design and develop advanced tooling solutions that ensure precision, safety, and efficiency in rail manufacturing. You will collaborate with dedicated teams who share a commitment to engineering excellence and sustainable mobility.

Your Role, Your Impact

- Design and optimize jigs, fixtures, and tooling systems to enhance scalability and production efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tooling design with manufacturing and quality requirements.

- Ensure reliability and compliance of tools through rigorous validation and continuous improvement processes.

- Drive innovation by integrating digital design tools such as CATIA and 3D simulation for tooling development.

- Promote knowledge sharing and standardization of best practices across engineering and production teams.

You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility, ensuring seamless integration of business and technology.

What You Bring

- Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA or SolidWorks for tooling design.

- Understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and assembly.

- Experience with FMEA or DFMA methodologies to ensure tool reliability and maintainability.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across engineering and production functions.

How Success Is Measured

- On-time delivery of tooling projects aligned with production schedules.

- Effective collaboration and support to manufacturing and quality teams.

- Reduction in tooling defects and improvement in production efficiency.

Alstom, A Great Place to Grow

- Work with cutting-edge digital design and manufacturing technologies.

- Contribute to global rail projects with tangible local impact.

- Access continuous learning and career development opportunities within a global network.

Here, progress isn't always easy but the impact is real. Because the scale is massive, the tasks are complex when the system runs, the train moves, and the city connects that feeling stays with you. And the legacy lasts.

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
