About this role
- Join a group of 8 Orthopedic Surgeons and 5 PAs at Mammoth Hospital Orthopedics.
- Referral base: Orthopedists, family med providers, physical therapists, etc. Most will come from in-house, but we also get a lot of referrals from outside providers in the area, such as from Northern Inyo Hospital.
- Scope of practice: sports medicine, procedures, IR, pain management, EMG/NCS, and management of non-operative spine patients
- Monday through Friday with hours generally being between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM – open to building schedule as you see fit
- Primarily located in clinic in Mammoth Lakes and potential to see patients at satellite clinic in Bishop
In-office procedures at clinic and procedures in the PACU or IR suites at the hospital
- No call requirement and dedicated hospitalist team
- Dedicated MA and RNs
- EMR: Cerner Community Works with AI Ambient Scribe
Independent contractor agreement
- 1 year guaranteed base salary with wRVU threshold for bonus potential
