PrismHR is looking for a Product Analyst to join its Shared Technology and Product Management team and help drive the evolution of its industry-leading Human Capital Management (HCM) platform.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines business and technical knowledge, understands Payroll and HR processes, and is ready to leverage AI tools to improve product discovery, requirements definition, and delivery.

💻 What You'll Do

- Partner with Product Managers and UX Designers to translate customer and business needs into actionable product requirements.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications, ensuring they are ready for development.
- Use AI tools such as Claude to draft requirements, synthesize research, and build rapid prototypes while validating all outputs.
- Manage and maintain product backlogs, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and Jira metadata.
- Analyze customer feedback, enhancement requests, product usage data, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support competitive research and product discovery initiatives across the HCM landscape.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Engineering and QA teams to ensure requirements are met.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint demos.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, UX, Support, and Professional Services teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Support product initiatives related to Payroll, HR, Benefits, Time & Attendance, Compliance, and Tax Management.

🎯 What We're Looking For

- 2–4 years of experience in Product Analysis, Business Analysis, Product Management, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of Payroll and HR processes, particularly within service bureaus and small-to-medium businesses.
- Previous experience collaborating directly with Product Managers and UX Designers.
- Understanding of HCM platforms and core functionality, including Payroll, HR, Benefits, Time & Attendance, Compliance, Tax Management, and Reporting.
- Hands-on experience using Claude or similar AI tools to draft requirements, synthesize research, or create prototypes.
- Strong judgment to validate AI-generated content and identify inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Understanding of sensitive employee and payroll data, including PII, Social Security Numbers, and compensation information.
- Experience working in Agile environments and participating in Scrum ceremonies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 Advanced).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and passion for continuous learning.

- Ability to read API documentation and understand JSON payloads.
- Basic SQL query-writing skills.
- Experience with Jira and product backlog management.
- Experience with AI-assisted product development and market research.

🎓 Education

Technology-related studies are considered an advantage.
