The Opportunity:

McCarthy Uniforms is hiring a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Inventory Focus) at our Burnaby store, located at 1050 Boundary Road, Burnaby, BC .

This role will primarily support inventory preparation activities leading up to our annual inventory count. We are seeking someone who enjoys repetitive, detail-oriented work and can help ensure our inventory is accurate, organized, and ready for counting.

Expected hours are approximately 8 to 16 hours per week .

Compensation: $18.25 per hour

Availability Requirements:

- Must be available to work Thursdays
- Additional weekday availability is considered an asset

Key Responsibilities:

- Counting inventory and verifying product quantities
- Sorting, organizing, and preparing merchandise for inventory counts
- Repeatedly counting and reconciling inventory to ensure accuracy
- Replenishing and organizing stock according to merchandising and visual presentation plans
- Lifting and moving boxes weighing up to approximately 30 lbs
- Assisting with receiving and organizing incoming inventory
- Participating in the maintenance and cleanliness of the stockroom and sales floor
- Assisting customers as required
- Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable performing repetitive counting and organizational tasks
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Previous retail, warehouse, merchandising, or inventory experience is an asset, but not required
- Available to work Thursdays
