About this role
- Collaborates with physicians in the development of clinical protocols/procedures for the delivery of primary patient care.
- Maintains all certifications, licensure and continuing education requirements as mandated by the licensing board for practice as a LPN/RN.
- Participates in the initial and ongoing assessment of the patient in collaborations with the physician.
- After the physician initiates the plan of care, updates the chart information on each visit.
- . Reduces patient anxiety through calm manner and explanation of procedures to the patient.
- Observes and responds to behavioral and physiological changes due to medications
- Evaluates patient, patient/family knowledge of home care.
- Maintains adequate documentation to promote quality patient care based on nursing standards.
Qualifications
- Current Georgia RN/LPN licensure
- BLS Certification
