- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
Certification must be issued by the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).

Educational Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED required
License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
- California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification in lieu of CNA - Emergency Department Only.
- BLS Certification by the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross required
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Licensed CNA in an acute care facility (hospital or medical center strongly preferred)
- Demonstrates a dedication to customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and health care colleagues
