In the Maintenance Engineer – Aerospace Materials you will coordinate activities between the operations and maintenance teams such as troubleshooting breakdown repairs, and installation or replacement of equipment.

This is an On-site role reporting to the Grand Prairie, TX facility.  In this role you will report to the Facilities Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure schedules are coordinated with the maintenance manager and supervisor to minimize down time, maximize production and maximize maintenance compliance and productivity to complete PM’s as needed for equipment.
- Manage investigation for product quality problems, resolve cause, assemble, and analyze data and implement corrective action to reduce or eliminate cause.
- See opportunities for improvements in equipment and production methods consistent with cost and quality goals.
- Assist in projects or run projects to completion.
- Track machine downtime and utilization.
- Work with maintenance team and maintenance leadership as needed to complete task and daily activities.
- Heavy involvement with equipment operations including upgrades or improvements as needed for daily operations.
- Assist staff in daily task, track downtimes and help with modernization of equipment and means of tracking.

Qualifications:

- Associates or higher Degree in Engineering or highly related field required.
- Three (3) or more years of proven experience in mechanical maintenance or related skilled trades required.
- Proficiency with CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) required.
- Have technical knowledge including facilities infrastructure, process equipment, process controls, and support equipment preferred.
- Previous experience working with PLC’s required.
- Previous experience with robotics and automation is preferred.
- Knowledge of Hydraulics, pneumatics and vacuum systems required.
- Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Security clearance or currently hold one.
