About this role

About Credo AI

The Credo AI Governance Platform operates as the trust layer for global enterprises focused on transforming their organizations with AI. It is powered by a knowledge graph that is updated by agents, enriched with global regulatory intelligence and curated business context, supported by Forward-Deployed Experts, giving enterprises a clear view of the risk profile behind every AI system. By making that risk visible, we enable teams to move quickly and confidently scale across systems to adopt compliant AI, faster and in a compliant manner.

The Role

We're a small team shipping fast, and we've outgrown running planning, releases and customer feedback on goodwill alone. You'll build the operating system for our product and engineering team, and run it yourself.

You'll own the rhythm: quarterly planning, 6-week releases, sizing, release countdowns, and the flow of customer feedback into the roadmap. When it works, teams commit to what fits, risks surface early, and every release lands cleanly.

What You'll Do

- Own the product metrics operating system across the product organization: define the metric taxonomy, source-of-truth dashboards, reporting cadence and accountability model.
- Partner with each product manager to choose activation, adoption, retention, quality and delivery metrics that connect roadmap work to customer and business outcomes.
- Run quarterly planning and our 6-week release cadence, with plans, owners, dependencies and target product metrics in one place.
- Lead sizing with each product team every cycle, and show leadership where engineering capacity is going and what product outcomes that capacity is expected to move.
- Own the release calendar and run the countdown, from readiness reviews to go/no-go to post-launch checks.
- Collect go/no-go sign-offs from QA, Product, UX and Engineering, and hold a release when anyone says no.
- Build a ticket intake process: complete, de-duplicated tickets rolled up into customer themes that feed planning and product health metrics.
- Build dashboards for delivery progress, release readiness, service levels, feature adoption, customer feedback themes and product health.
- Publish product metrics reviews for leadership, highlighting movement against goals, risks, owners and follow-up actions.
- Work with product managers on release notes and get them to Customer Success and Support on time.
- Use AI agents to compile readiness reports, summarize ticket themes, detect metric anomalies and keep our tools clean.

What Hands-On Means Here

- You run the meetings, update the boards and write the status reports yourself.
- You build the dashboards and automations, not just request them.
- You chase the missing sign-off the night before a release.

What We're Looking For

Required:

- 4+ years in product operations, technical program management or engineering program management at a software company.
- Experience running agile release cycles for an engineering team of 10 to 40 people.
- Expert in Jira and Confluence, comfortable with dashboards and light automation.
- Technical enough to follow architecture discussions and challenge an estimate.
- Calm under pressure and direct about risk: you flag a slip on day one, not day ten.
- Experience building process from scratch at a startup without making it heavy.

Preferred:

- B2B SaaS experience with enterprise customers and SLAs.
- Experience with QA and release automation.
- Background in compliance, security or GRC software.
- Experience using AI tools to automate reporting and operations work.
- Location: SF bay area preferred
