Turner Industries is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to join our team in the Pasadena, TX area.

- No Per Diem, Ideal for local candidate

- Candidate must be available to work extended hours and callouts, schedule subject to change

- Valid Drivers License and a TWIC card

- NCCER highly preferred

- Must be able to pass background and pre-employment drug screen

- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent

General Job Description :
Exercises independent judgment and supervises and directs a group of workers engaged chiefly in one occupation.

Functional Requirements:
Interprets blueprints, sketches, written and/or verbal orders; assigns duties, lines up and follows up all work and is responsible for production of the unit; inspects work to ensure adherence to company standards; trains and assists workers in performance of their duties; supervises and coordinates activities of assigned
construction workers; interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations; analyzes and resolves work related problems; implements safety programs; ensures job site materials and equipment are in good condition; may maintain time, production and other records; may study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job.

Qualification Standards :
1) Minimum 4 years of experience as a Mechanic A/Journeyman
2) Written pre-employment qualification test
3) Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
4) Hazard Communication orientation/test
5) Turner industries, Ltd. Indoctrination
6) OSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87)
7) Job site orientation
8) Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
9) Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
10) Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place.
