Responsibilities
- Independently troubleshoot facility and utility equipment issues.
- Perform corrective maintenance on HVAC, boilers, chillers, air compressors, pumps, water systems, and electrical distribution systems.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Investigate equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist with equipment qualifications, commissioning, and validation support activities.
- Coordinate assigned maintenance projects and vendor activities.
- Review maintenance metrics and identify reliability improvement opportunities.
- Support deviation investigations and CAPA implementation related to facility systems.
- Participate in energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
- Train and mentor Facilities Technician I personnel.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of facilities maintenance experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience using CMMS software.
- Knowledge of GMP documentation requirements.
