Role and Responsibilities

Role Overview:

The Shift Team Lead supervises production employees and lines, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards. They lead continuous improvement efforts and engage employees to achieve these goals.

Key Objectives:

Promote a culture of process safety, quality, and customer service.
Maintain high standards and achieve expected outcomes.

Experience and Skills

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required; BS in Engineering preferred.
5 years of experience, preferably managing a union workforce.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.

Skills Required:
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and key operational metrics.
Effective communication for organizational alignment.
Familiarity with quality systems and inventory control.
Ability to analyze safety hazards and understand safety protocols.
Quick comprehension of safety policies, production rates, and performance tracking.
