About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and safety-focused Dairy Operator to join our Manufacturing team at Stanhope.

Reporting to the Production Leader, you will play an important role in the safe and efficient production of dairy products while maintaining our high standards of safety, quality, food safety and environmental compliance.

This is a hands-on operational role where you will have the opportunity to work across various areas of dairy manufacturing, develop technical skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality products enjoyed by consumers across Australia and around the world.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor manufacturing and processing equipment.
- Perform routine quality, food safety and compliance checks.
- Complete production documentation and system transactions accurately.
- Maintain product quality standards and process parameters.
- Identify and respond to process issues using problem-solving techniques.
- Perform cleaning, sanitation and housekeeping activities in line with site standards.
- Support asset care and basic troubleshooting activities.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
- Maintain compliance with Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements at all times.

About You

Ideally you will possess:

- Previous experience in manufacturing, food processing, dairy or a related industry.
- A strong commitment to our Safety First Always culture.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.
- Sound problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Basic computer skills and experience completing electronic records.
- A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and support operational requirements.
