In this role you will:
Sales Performance Delivery & Dashboard Enablement:
- Lead a team to deliver sales performance dashboards and reporting that enable frontline to track progress against targets in a timely, accurate and actionable way.
- Ensure dashboards provide appropriate level of detail and clear elaboration (e.g., KPI definitions, drilldowns, segmentation, period comparisons), supported by a user-friendly interface.
- Build a delivery rhythm (e.g., daily/weekly/monthly refresh cycles) with strong controls to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness—especially near month-end.
- Translate frontline needs into functional dashboard requirements, ensuring outputs support practical actions such as pipeline building and closing performance gaps.
Relationship Manager Assignment & Coverage Management
- Own and enhance Relationship Manager (RM) assignment and coverage management reporting, ensuring transparent tracking of customer-to-RM mapping and coverage status.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to define and maintain RM assignment rules, exceptions handling, and governance (e.g., reassignment triggers, portfolio movement logic, coverage gaps).
- Deliver dashboards and operational views to support frontline and distribution leaders in managing RM portfolios (e.g., assigned/unassigned customers, capacity indicators, movement trends).
- Ensure RM assignment datasets and logic are aligned with performance tracking, scorecards, and incentive calculations where applicable, with clear documentation and walkthroughs.
- Manage day-to-day enquiries relating to RM assignment, portfolio movements, and coverage reporting, providing timely responses and controlling expectations on turnaround time and data limitations.
Performance Planning, Target Setting & Strategy Support:
- Support business planning and strategy formulation by shaping performance measurement approaches aligned with business objectives and distribution priorities.
- Partner with planning stakeholders to support target setting methodologies, target allocation logic, and tracking structures across products/channels/segments (as applicable).
- Establish and maintain KPI frameworks and success measures to ensure performance reporting drives the right behaviours and business outcomes.
Data Mart Design, Production & Governance:
- Own and oversee sales performance data mart design and production processes to ensure data lineage, business rules, and refresh processes are robust and scalable.
- Define and document calculation logic and KPI definitions to ensure transparency, auditability, and consistent interpretation across users.
- Drive continuous improvement of data quality controls, reconciliation routines, and performance reporting automation to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
Scorecard Modelling & Incentive Calculation:
- Lead scorecard modelling design and maintenance, ensuring alignment between business strategy, target frameworks, and performance measurement.
- Oversee incentive calculation logic (where in scope), ensuring the methodology is clear, repeatable, well-controlled, and explainable to stakeholders.
- Provide clear walkthroughs of scorecard/incentive logic to relevant stakeholders, and ensure change impacts are managed with proper communication and sign-off.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Expectation Management:
- Collaborate with multiple performance planning management teams, Heads of Distribution, District Directors, and frontline to align on content, KPI logic, and reporting priorities.
- Run structured calculation logic walkthroughs and manage ongoing communications to ensure stakeholders understand “what the numbers mean” and “what they don’t mean”.
- Handle and triage daily enquiries from counterparts and frontline users, providing timely responses while managing expectations to avoid over-interpretation or misuse of metrics.
- Maintain strong governance over changes (definitions, targets, logic, dashboards) to avoid confusion and ensure stable delivery.
Continuous Improvement & Adoption:
- Monitor dashboard adoption and user feedback, identifying opportunities to improve usability, clarity, and decision value.
- Enhance reporting with better visual storytelling, intuitive navigation, and frontline-ready insights (e.g., “gap to target”, “run-rate required”, “pipeline needed”).
- Drive improvements in process efficiency, automation, and standardisation across reporting and performance management routines.
To be successful you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data/Information Management, Analytics, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in sales performance management, business planning, MI/reporting, analytics, or related roles within banking/financial services.
- Experience leading a team responsible for performance dashboards/scorecards delivered to frontline and distribution management.
- Familiarity with dashboard and analytics tooling (e.g., Tableau, QlikSense, Power BI, Looker Studio) and strong working knowledge of SQL; broader analytics tooling exposure is a plus.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups (planning teams, distribution leaders, frontline) and managing high-volume month-end delivery demands.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in:
Business planning and strategy formulation

- Excellent communication skills—able to explain calculation logic clearly to both technical teams and frontline/business users.
- Strong problem-solving capability with high attention to detail, especially around KPI definitions, data accuracy, and reconciliation.
- Written and spoken fluency in Cantonese and English .
