Rugby School Dubai is looking for an exceptional School Librarian to lead and develop our library provision within senior school, fostering a culture of reading, research, and lifelong learning across the school.
Rugby School Dubai (RSD) opened its doors in August 2026. It is the next chapter of Rugby School's legacy, where British heritage meets the UAE's forward ambition. About you:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science, Library Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a school library or educational environment.
- Good knowledge of library management, cataloguing, and classification systems.
- Proficiency in library management systems, IT, and digital learning platforms.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to engage students, promote reading, and support teaching and learning.
- Experience organising reading programmes, literacy activities, and library events.
- Knowledge of children's literature and age-appropriate learning resources.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
