Managing Director Logistics (Belgium)

We are now looking for a Managing Director Logistics to lead our logistics business in Belgium and play a key role in driving performance, strengthening collaboration, and supporting our continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys balancing commercial, operational, and people leadership.About the roleAs Managing Director Logistics, you will have overall responsibility for the performance and development of DFDS Logistics in Belgium. You will lead through an experienced leadership team and work across multiple logistics activities and locations (Gent, Tessenderlo and Lyon), ensuring we deliver value for our customers while building a strong and sustainable organisation for the future.Working closely with your leadership team, you will drive growth, create alignment across the business, and translate strategic priorities into tangible results. You will also play an active role in the wider DFDS organisation, collaborating with colleagues across Europe and contributing to our long-term ambitions.Your key responsibilities includeDriving business performance and profitable growthLeading and developing the local leadership teamStrengthening collaboration across locations and business areasEnsuring safe, efficient and customer-focused operationsBuilding strong relationships with customers and key stakeholdersDriving continuous improvement, operational excellence and organisational developmentContributing to the broader DFDS Logistics strategyAbout youExperience leading larger operational and commercial logistics organizations incl. trailer transport, contract logistics and warehousingAvailability for frequent travel across multiple European countries is essentialStrong business and financial acumen, including P&L responsibilityA track record of delivering growth and performance improvementsExperience developing leaders and building high-performing teamsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsThe ability to balance strategic direction with hands-on executionAs a leader, you are collaborative, trustworthy, and visible.
