About this role
KODE Labs is seeking a full-time Product Manager — Deployment & Onboarding to improve how customers move from contract signing to a successful, value-generating deployment.
You will own the product experience across site readiness, building-system integration, data collection, configuration, commissioning, validation, training, and customer handoff. You will turn lessons from individual deployments into scalable product capabilities and repeatable processes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own the roadmap for deployment, implementation, and customer onboarding.
- Map and improve the customer journey from contract signing through go-live.
- Work with customers, facility teams, implementation specialists, and Engineering to identify deployment challenges.
- Improve how building, equipment, and operational data is collected, mapped, validated, and configured.
- Build tools and workflows that reduce manual effort and improve deployment predictability.
- Define readiness requirements, responsibilities, dependencies, and escalation paths.
- Support complex deployments and identify opportunities to create reusable product solutions.
- Track KPIs such as time to go live, data completeness, deployment quality, manual effort, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with enterprise software or complex implementations.
- Experience in smart buildings, building automation, HVAC, energy management, or facility operations.
- Understanding of building management systems, equipment, sensors, controls, and operational data.
- Experience improving complex processes and converting manual workflows into scalable solutions.
- Strong technical literacy across integrations, data mapping, networking, and permissions.
- Ability to work with facility operators, controls engineers, software teams, and customer stakeholders.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience with commissioning, controls engineering, energy services, or solutions engineering.
- Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, Niagara, MQTT, or similar technologies.
- Experience with HVAC optimization, fault detection, or building analytics.
