Full Stack Development Lead

Role Overview We are seeking a high-energy Full Stack Development Lead (5+ years overall experience) to lead engineering teams and drive technical execution across modern web, cloud, and AI-enabled projects. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on coding enthusiasm with practical project delivery leadership. You will be responsible for technical architecture, leading pods of engineers, enforcing rigorous engineering standards, and collaborating with clients while utilizing agile project management tools like Jira. Crucially, you should be a modern, forward-looking AI-native developer . You are comfortable with established frameworks like Next.js while actively embracing modern ecosystem evolutions such as TanStack (TanStack Start, Router, Query) and shadcn/ui . You leverage daily AI productivity tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate velocity while enforcing strict security, data privacy, and IP protection standards.
### Key Responsibilities

- Authentication & Authorization Architecture: Architect, implement, and audit secure authentication and authorization systems—covering both third-party IAM/SSO providers (e.g., Auth0, Firebase Auth, AWS Cognito, Clerk, Keycloak) and custom in-house implementations (JWT, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, RBAC/ABAC models, session stores, and server-side session revocations).
- Distributed Architecture & Microservices: Design, build, and scale distributed systems using microservices architectures , serverless computing ( AWS Lambda ), and robust API Gateways for secure routing, throttling, and traffic management.
- Full Stack & Modern Frontend Architecture: Lead the development of robust web applications and APIs, leaning heavily on Node.js, Python, Next.js , modern React paradigms ( TanStack stack , shadcn/ui ), and database management across PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB .
- Payments & Integrations Ecosystem: Architect and build secure payment gateway implementations (e.g., Stripe, Razorpay) and complex 3rd-party integrations (SaaS APIs, Webhooks, OAuth, automated workflow pipelines).
- Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment: Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud applications, with strong proficiency in AWS , and working knowledge or familiarity with GCP or Azure as a plus.
- AI Tool Integration & Security Governance: Drive team adoption of modern AI-assisted engineering tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) while establishing guardrails to prevent sensitive code leaks, vulnerability injection, or IP risks.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage and mentor a pod of engineers, championing clean code, type safety, spec-driven development, and high-quality standards.
- Project & Sprint Delivery: Work with project management tools ( Jira ) to track delivery, organize sprints, manage technical risks, and ensure on-time project execution.
- Client Engagement: Participate in client technical discussions, solution scoping, and architectural reviews to deliver optimal solutions aligned with business goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Overall Experience: 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development with a track record of progressing into team lead or technical lead responsibilities.
- Architecture & Distributed Systems: Strong expertise in designing microservices , serverless backend patterns ( AWS Lambda ), and configuring API Gateways .
- Core Tech Stack & Modern Frameworks: Backend & Languages: Node.js, Python
- Frontend & UI: Next.js , strong curiosity/experience with TanStack tools (TanStack Start/Router/Query) , and shadcn/ui / Tailwind CSS
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB

- Integrations & Financial Infrastructure: Demonstrated hands-on experience integrating payment gateways and building resilient 3rd-party API integrations, webhook handlers, aand automation workflows.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS (required) ; familiarity with GCP or Azure is a strong plus .
- AI Tools & Security Mastery: Daily proficiency with AI development workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor ) combined with a sharp awareness of AI code security, data privacy, and secure coding practices .
- Agile & PM Tools: Practical experience using Jira and agile frameworks to plan work, manage sprints, and communicate progress effectively.
