PCBA Test Equipment Electrical Development Engineer

Job Responsibilities

- Design and develop electrical systems for PCBA test equipment, including ICT, FCT, ATE, and other automated test platforms.
- Develop test fixtures, jigs, and automated testing solutions based on product testing requirements.
- Create electrical schematics, select components, and perform equipment integration, debugging, and validation.
- Develop and optimize functional testing, programming, aging, and reliability testing solutions.
- Analyze and resolve production line test issues to improve test coverage, efficiency, yield, and equipment reliability.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and provide technical support during mass production.
- Prepare technical documentation, operating procedures, and training materials.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PCBA test equipment development, automated equipment design, or test system engineering.
- Strong understanding of ICT, FCT, ATE principles and electronic manufacturing test processes.
- Familiar with digital and analog circuit design, as well as communication protocols such as UART, CAN, and RS485.
- Proficient in electrical design tools such as Altium Designer, EPLAN, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to independently perform equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with PLC programming, LabVIEW, Python, C#, or industrial automation control systems is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Consumer Electronics, Automotive Electronics, or New Energy industries.
- Hands-on experience with MES integration, test data collection, and data analysis systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, industrial PCs, test system integration, and machine vision inspection systems.
- Experience in smart manufacturing or automated production line projects is highly desirable.
