About this role

Ocado E-bike Delivery Rider

Location: Acton, 20 Stirling Road, London, W3 8DG
Pay: £13.19 per hour
Contract: 40 hours per week
Working pattern: Eight-hour shifts, five days out of seven. Most available shifts are PM shifts, with some AM shifts available.
Parking: Please note that on-site parking is limited.

There’s a reason we call our delivery colleagues Zoom Riders. They know how to navigate the city, find the best shortcuts and keep moving when the traffic builds up.

Our customers never know when they might be missing a vital ingredient or when the munchies might strike. That’s where you come in. Riding one of our power-assisted cargo e-bikes, you’ll deliver customer orders across the local area safely and at just the right time.

You’ll be one of our customers’ first points of contact, so we’re looking for someone who can deliver great service safely and with a smile. No two days are the same, with every shift bringing new routes, customers and experiences.

This is an active, outdoor role. You’ll need a good level of fitness and must be prepared to ride in different weather conditions. You’ll also need to be comfortable operating a cargo e-bike carrying loads of at least 50kg.

Our benefits

We offer a great range of benefits, including:

15% off Ocado shopping, plus a wide range of retail and food discounts for you and your family
The opportunity to earn shares in Ocado Group and contribute to our ongoing success
The option to buy additional holiday when you need a little more time away
A competitive pension plan, with contributions matched up to 7%
Tools and services designed to support your health and wellbeing while working outdoors
Ready to ride?

No delivery experience? No problem.

As long as you can ride a bicycle safely, we’ll provide:

Your power-assisted cargo e-bike
All the equipment you need
Comprehensive cargo e-bike training
Customer-service training

You just need to bring a positive, can-do attitude, a friendly approach and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
