As a Platform Solution Architect (Manager) in Kainos, you'll be responsible for leading multi-skilled agile teams to design and deliver high-quality solutions on public cloud which delight our customers. As a technical leader in Kainos, you'll work with customer architects and talented colleagues to design, automate, build and support modern digital service platforms. You'll estimate effort and advise on the impact of technical decisions surrounding technology choices.

You work AI-Augmented as standard and lead its adoption across projects and accounts. You use AI tooling responsibly throughout the delivery lifecycle to increase automation, accelerate delivery, and improve outcomes while maintaining accountability for quality, governance and risk. You embed effective AI-Augmented practices into ways of working, coach teams and senior engineers, and contribute to the continuous evolution of Kainos's AI delivery capability.

All employees are expected to continuously develop their understanding of AI capabilities relevant to their role and actively seek opportunities to improve customer, business, and delivery outcomes through responsible application of AI, while operating within appropriate security, regulatory, commercial, and governance constraints.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Championing a DevOps culture: You'll lead colleagues in engineering, testing, consulting, product management and security to design solutions of the highest quality which meet all non-functional requirements.

- Championing technology for positive impact: You'll keep appraised of the latest technologies and tools and champion their use within and outside of Kainos.

- Developing Kainos as a business: You contribute to technology strategy and help Kainos to identify, qualify and win new opportunities.

- Putting people first & developing others: You'll manage, coach and develop a small number of senior staff, with a focus on managing employee performance and assisting in their career development.

- Working AI-Augmented: You'll maintain an open and curious mindset towards AI, continually exploring how evolving capabilities can improve the way work is performed. You'll challenge existing practices, experiment responsibly with new approaches, and apply sound judgement to determine where AI delivers meaningful value, and where it does not. You'll balance innovation with pragmatism as you remain accountable for the results delivered.
