Join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team as a Qualified Mental Health Professional in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you’ll have a specific focus on psychiatric rehabilitation, helping individuals living with serious mental illness develop and strengthen the skills they need to improve daily functioning, increase independence, and achieve their personal recovery goals.
Through individualized, hands-on support, you’ll help clients build coping skills, improve social and communication skills, manage symptoms, develop daily living skills, and increase community integration. You’ll also help clients achieve stability by building and strengthening relationships between clients and providers to support integrated, whole-person care, and help them navigate benefits and support systems so they keep access to the resources they rely on.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with adults and/or adolescents in the mental health field
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, or related)
- Reliable transportation is required
