About this role
We're not here to add to the noise. We're here to cut through it- with AI that actually works for marketers.
From AI-powered content creation to world-class CMS and the industry's most trusted experimentation platform, Optimizely is the tool modern marketers actually want to use. AI-Ready. Set. Go.
10,000+ brands including H&M, PayPal, and Zoom already get it. So do Gartner, Forrester, and IDC, who consistently recognize us as leaders in MarTech.
But here's the thing about building great products: it takes great people. Our 1,600+ Optimizers across 12 global offices are curious, collaborative, and refreshingly human. We don't do corporate speak. We do real conversations, big ideas, and genuinely care for the work we make together.
If you want to be part of a team that's shaping the future of marketing technology — and actually enjoys doing it — you're in the right place.

Introduction
The Internal AI Product Team helps departments across Optimizely succeed with AI by shaping strategy, delivering solutions, and building shared capabilities that are safe, scalable, and impactful. As the team has grown, so has the volume of AI work moving through it, across discovery, delivery, and adoption support for every department it partners with. This individual will work closely with the AI Engineering team and Shared Services (Security, Legal, Data, and Compliance) to take ideas from discovery through to delivery and adoption.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Dhaka time [Hybrid and flexible]
## Job Responsibilities
Product ownership fundamentals
- Develop relationships and build trust with Business Owners.
- Own and prioritise the product backlog for assigned departments, balancing business value, risk, and delivery capacity.
- Lead discovery, full or lite, to confirm requirements, success metrics, and technical feasibility before work is approved.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Team and Shared Services to identify efficient solutions.
- Write clear PRDs and translate them into well-structured epics and stories in Jira.
- Run and contribute to daily stand-ups, weekly prioritisation, and monthly planning meetings.
- Oversee delivery and testing, sign off on demos, and manage handover to business-as-usual.
- Track value delivered against the team's efficiency, effectiveness, revenue, and risk measures.
AI-specific responsibilities
- Keep AI skills current: Stay up to date on AI tools, models, and best practices so guidance to departments reflects what's actually possible today.
- Learn and use Opal: Build working knowledge of Opal to support teams building agents and to identify where it fits a use case.
- Build: Build solutions and agents to solve problems. Build lightweight, working prototypes during discovery to test ideas and validate requirements before committing engineering time.
- Partner closely with engineers: Work day-to-day with the AI Engineering Team through design, build, and testing, not just at handoff.
- Partner with Shared Services: Bring in Data and Analytics, Security, Legal, and Compliance early and proportionately, engaging them when the risk tier calls for it, not on every project.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of the process and ways of working.
- Share your knowledge, learnings, and successes with the wider team and business.
What we expect day to day
- Beyond the specifics above, each Product Owner is expected to do what any strong PO does: understand their departments' goals well enough to spot opportunities before being asked, keep stakeholders informed without over-reporting, write requirements the engineering team can act on without repeated back-and-forth, make sensible trade-off calls under time pressure, and hold a consistent bar for quality and testing before anything ships. They're the person a department head calls first when they have an AI idea, and the person engineering trusts to bring them well-scoped, validated work.
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience: 2+ years in a product, project, business analyst, or similar delivery-facing role.
- AI knowledge: Comfortable using mainstream AI tools and able to explain in plain terms what AI can and can't realistically do for a business problem. They should be able to clearly explain which use cases they have leveraged AI for in their personal lives and how they executed them.
- Technical Skills: Able to vibe-code simple prototypes, understands the basics of prompting, and is familiar with foundational engineering and architecture concepts, such as databases, APIs, and deployments, enough to follow a technical conversation and ask the right questions, not build the thing themselves.
- Core trait: A genuinely curious, analytical mindset. Someone who asks "why" and "what if," digs into a problem before jumping to a solution, and enjoys figuring out how things work.
- Communication: Able to write clearly and talk comfortably with both business stakeholders and engineers.
