The Role
The Channel Partner Manager leads Ravelin's day-to-day relationship with our strategic parent-company partner and makes sure delivery and the relationship are well coordinated. This is a coordination and relationship role: you connect the right people across teams and stakeholders so the partnership runs smoothly.
You'll coordinate across teams, run regular partnership meetings and updates, and own the process for handovers, actions and escalations. You'll work across Ravelin's Account Management, Customer Success, Product and Engineering teams, and with the partner's commercial, product and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Relationship management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders at every level of the partner.
- Cross-functional coordination: Coordinate Ravelin's Account Management, Customer Success, Product and Engineering teams to support day to day success.
- Delivery: Lead delivery of operational projects with the partner, making sure merchants are well supported
- Stakeholder engagement: Tailor communication to different audiences.
- Partnership governance: Run regular partnership meetings and leadership forums.
- Escalations and SLAs: Own escalations and SLA response times.
- Reviews and reporting: Lead SBRs and regular updates that share progress, challenges and successes.
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years' experience in partnership management, project management or consulting, within a start-up or a bank, ideally including managing a strategic partner rather than just clients.
- Confidence working with senior leaders on both sides of a partnership, and influencing without direct authority.
- A data-led approach: you can agree KPIs with a partner and build SBRs and reporting from them.
- Proven experience delivering operational projects and SBRs, with strong process and project management, running multiple workstreams and stakeholders at once.
- Excellent presentation skills: confident building and presenting to senior audiences, with clear, concise written and verbal communication.
- Comfort owning escalations and SLA response times.
- Strong product knowledge, with the curiosity to learn Ravelin's products in depth and explain them clearly to partner teams.
- Strong, proactive coordination: organised, pushing work forward across teams and managing your own workload and diary in a fast-paced environment.
- UK-based and able to travel regularly to the US.
Nice to haves
- Knowledge of the fraud and payments industry.
- Experience working inside, or alongside, a large acquirer or payments group.
- Familiarity with APIs, cloud or data science concepts.
