Blending Operator I (7:00pm-7:00am) $21.50 per hour
Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Blending Operator I to be based out of Thomasville, GA. Reporting to the Blending Materials Specialist, this person will be responsible for making adjustments to blender system controls to ensure proper blend of materials, test and accurately document compound production and material storage.
What youll do:
Blending Operator I responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately estimate compound needs in order to supply extrusion
- Make adjustments to the blender controls to be certain proper blend of materials
- Keep accurate and orderly records on the type and amount of compound blended for daily inventory
- Assist with monthly inventory of raw materials
- Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately
What youll bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical skill set experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes desired
Within 3 months, youll:
- Complete any required training
- Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
- Be well-versed in Atkores Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $21.50 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
