About this role
In search of:
Part-time Group Exercise Instructors at the Lake Community YMCA to teach a variety of weekday morning classes, such as:
- Pilates - Weekday morning or Saturday morning
- Yoga - Saturday morning
- Parkinson's - Monday or Friday at 1pm (all trainings and certifications provided by the Y)
Starting rate:
$11.00 - $16.00
Qualifications:
- Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- CPR and AED certification preferred, but will provide
- Certification from nationally-recognized fitness accreditation agency
- Able to teach multiple formats, preferred
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Meet and greet the members with enthusiasm
- Design class format appropriate for type of class and participants
- Serve as a good role model
- Communicate with team members
- Address difficult situations by using the YMCA Character Values as a guide
