About this role
DAMAC Digital is seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to support the delivery of hyperscale and mission-critical data center projects across Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical disciplines. The role will be responsible for cost planning, estimation, procurement support, tender management, value engineering, and commercial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
We are hiring for Sr. Quantity Surveyor (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical Disciplines)
Location : Dubai, UAE
- Prepare and review cost plans, budgets, estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation.
- Manage end-to-end tendering, commercial evaluations, and contractor/supplier negotiations.
- Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Maintain cost benchmarks, rate libraries, and market intelligence.
- Review variations, claims, and commercial risks.
- Produce cost reports, forecasts, and procurement recommendations.
- Coordinate closely with Design, Procurement, Project, and Finance teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8-10+ years of Quantity Surveying experience within contractors, consultants, or project management firms.
- Strong experience in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Sound knowledge of FIDIC contracts, tendering, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Experience with cost management tools such as CostX, Bluebeam, Excel, and ERP systems.
- RICS, CIOB, or equivalent professional accreditation is preferred.
Preferred Data Center Experience
Civil: Foundations, structural steel, concrete, substructure, architectural works.
Electrical: HV/MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, ELV systems.
Mechanical: Chilled water systems, HVAC, CRAH/CRAC, plumbing, fire protection, liquid cooling solutions.
