The Company currently have a vacancy for a 2nd Engineer in its ERRV fleet.Start Date 7th November 2026. Permanent position. 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation.Candidates should hold an 2nd Engineer CoC and have worked on ERRVs before.OPITO ERRV ITSO and OPITO FRC Boatman certs are preferred if still valid.In return we offer a competitive salary, 28 days on/off rotation, contributory pension scheme and access to our Employee Assistance Programme.2nd Engineer is responsible for the following:The operational status of the ship, its machinery, propulsion systems and technical equipment permanently installed on boardThe safety of personnel within sphere of influence.The maintenance of the vessel, machinery installed on board in a sound condition ready for operations.Reporting any defects to the plant and machinery installed on board to the Chief Engineer.Recognizing stores requirements, spares and equipment for the Engine Department.The execution of actions to fulfil the approved company Planned Maintenance System on boardMonitoring safe working practices of shore contractors during periods of maintenance.Examining and accepting stores and spares delivered to the vessel,.Assisting in the fuelling procedure to ensure all precautions are being adhered to.Actively promoting and progressing the company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.Actively promoting inter-departmental communications.
