About this role

Job Description

Just imagine shaping how LEGO® brick-based marketing evolves from individual models into moments that can scale from shelf experiences to global activations. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Senior Creative Manager in the Brick Based Marketing Studio (the Studio), you'll lead the creative journey from partner need to impactful brick-based marketing concept. You'll uncover what partners are really trying to achieve, including when a clear brief does not yet exist, and translate those needs into strong briefs, creative directions and scalable brick based marketing (BBM) concepts.

You'll help drive LEGO Model Production (LMP) transition from models to moments, combining strategic thinking with strong creative judgement. You will collaborate closely with designers, and the Studio colleagues, bring multidisciplinary partners together and make creative decisions as concepts move from opportunity and brief through development, validation, pitch and approval.

Note: This role is based in Billund, Denmark. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Required Qualifications

- Extensive creative and/or strategic experience, including several years leading creative work, teams or omnichannel projects.
- Proven ability to uncover complex partner or client needs and shape clear creative ideas, including when the initial ask is ambiguous or incomplete.
- Experience translating business, brand and audience objectives into compelling creative concepts with clear intended outcomes.
- Demonstrated creative leadership, including the ability to guide, mentor and provide direction and feedback to creative contributors.
- Strong creative judgement with experience validating creative work against strategic relevance, brand alignment, feasibility, scalability and expected impact.
- Experience using data, insights and partner knowledge to strengthen creative concepts and deliver measurable brand and/or business outcomes.
- Strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills, with experience pitching creative concepts and leading dialogue with senior partners and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience identifying cultural or creative trends and translating them into new creative opportunities.
- Experience leading agencies, freelancers or external creative partners as part of a wider creative ecosystem.

What you'll build

- Lead and mentor designers, providing clear creative direction and constructive feedback to move the work forward.
- Safeguard creative quality, helping ensure work meets the required standard before key presentations or launches.
- Help establish the Studio as a trusted strategic creative partner, strengthening the studio's creative standards, credibility and impact across the organisation.
- T ranslate partner needs, shopper insights and business objectives into clear creative propositions, using relevant trends and learnings from previous work to strengthen concepts from early exploration through development and pitch.
- Lead brainstorms, workshops and creative reviews, helping multidisciplinary teams explore possibilities and progress towards strong creative solutions.
- Develop and communicate concepts through visual storytelling, sketches, prototypes, models or presentations, making the experience and creative thinking clear and compelling to partners.
- Balance creative ambition with feasibility, scalability, cost and quality, collaborating with design, engineering, production and relevant external partners as concepts develop.
- Present and advocate for creative proposals while constructively challenging partners and colleagues to strengthen strategy and execution.
- Proactively identify new opportunities for BBM experiences and contribute to raising the creative and professional standard across the studio.

If you've taken an unclear business or partner need and shaped it into a creative direction that others could believe in and deliver against, you'll feel at home here. What matters is your ability to lead through ambiguity, make strong creative judgements and connect ambitious ideas with tangible brand and business impact.

Life on the team

You'll join a collaborative creative environment combining focused concept development with brainstorming and creative reviews. As Senior Creative Manager, you'll help set the creative standard, develop the people around you and strengthen the Studio partners with the wider business.

What success looks like

You'll strengthen the journey from partner need to brief, BBM concept and impactful creative outcome, helping strong ideas progress while raising the quality of the Studio creative work. You'll also help establish the Studio as a trusted strategic partner as the team develops Brick Based Marketing Moments for 2027 and 2028 for various partners, including branded stores.
