About the projectJoin the IT organisation of a leading European parcel and logistics group, handling more than 840 million parcels a year across 40+ countries. As technical co-owner of the AI Hub, you’ll work side by side with the Business Lead to set the technical direction of a growing portfolio of AI solutions, from first idea and PoC to production and continuous improvement.What you’ll doAct as technical owner of the AI Hub and take technical responsibility for the solutions it builds and supportsEnsure consistency in architecture, engineering practices and technology choices across the portfolioGuide AI solutions through their full lifecycle: solution design, PoC, development, testing and productionSupport AI Engineers with complex technical challenges and architecture decisionsEnsure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and operationally readyPromote engineering best practices for AI development: code quality, testing, CI/CD and monitoringEncourage reusable components and shared technical patterns across AI initiativesEvaluate new AI developments and run PoCs to assess their potentialWeigh complexity, cost and expected value, and challenge the use of AI where a simpler approach works betterRepresent the AI Hub in technical discussions with engineering, architecture and business teamsWhat we’re looking forDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science or a related field, or equivalent experienceStrong experience in software engineering, AI engineering or machine learningProven track record technically leading complex AI or software solutions from design to productionSolid knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents and machine learning frameworksExperience with cloud platforms and cloud AI services, ideally Azure (AWS or Google Cloud also valued)Good understanding of APIs, system integration, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and DevOps/MLOpsAbility to translate business problems into the right technical solutionsExcellent communication with both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to influence technical decisions across teams without relying on formal authorityFluent EnglishWhat can you expect from us?Mind-blowing workplace culture.
