About this role

The Vice President, Enterprise Technology & Innovation (VP, ET&I), reports to the President, with direct leadership of Enterprise IT & Security. This executive will lead internal transformation, current customer innovation, and pre-award technical solutioning, supported by reliable technology and cybersecurity operations.

The VP, ET&I will serve as the connective point among Growth, Service Delivery, Technology, Quality and Compliance, Corporate Services, and Executive Leadership. The position is an Executive Leadership Team member with direct CEO access for assigned priorities and material risks.

The position has three equally important, connected transformation missions:

- Internal enterprise transformation: Transform how the organization operates through data, AI, automation, analytics, process redesign, and enterprise integration.
- Current customer and program transformation: Apply those capabilities to active contracts to improve mission outcomes, service performance, productivity, and customer value.
- Growth and pre-award technical solutioning: Develop differentiated, executable technical solutions, architectures, demonstrations, and accelerators for recompetes and new business, from early BD through Capture, Proposal, and delivery handoff.

Reliable, secure corporate technology is the operating foundation for all three missions. Daily IT/Security execution remains with the existing leader; the VP is accountable for priorities, investment, risk treatment, and results.

The candidate must be a builder, operator, problem solver, and strategist who moves from problem definition through analysis, solution design, prototype, pilot, implementation, measurement, and reuse. The role requires sufficient technical depth to evaluate and shape solutions, along with the business and operational judgment to determine where technology should—and should not—be applied.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Corporate IT and Cybersecurity Leadership

- Own the performance and improvement of company-managed corporate technology and cybersecurity. Direct the existing Enterprise IT & Security leader, assigned staff, and service providers; delegate day-to-day execution while remaining accountable for outcomes.
- Define service ownership, support standards, escalation, staffing coverage, operational priorities, and an integrated technology roadmap. Keep access, support, and incident duties staffed during changes and transitions.
- Own enterprise architecture and integration, infrastructure, networks, cloud/collaboration platforms, endpoints, approved environments, capacity, and platform lifecycle. Evaluate interoperability, resilience, scalability, and total lifecycle cost.
- Manage approved technology budgets, investment priorities, licenses, renewals, asset inventories, vendor performance, and service agreements. Review critical providers with Contracts before selection or renewal, including cybersecurity, data handling, access, and contractual requirements.
- Ensure identity and access management, timely provisioning/removal, least privilege, privileged access controls, periodic access reviews, endpoint/network/cloud protection, vulnerability and patch management, secure configuration, logging, and monitoring.
- Implement and operate applicable technical security controls. Maintain system boundaries, control ownership, implementation evidence, system security documentation, and technical remediation plans for company-managed systems, including applicable Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) environments.
- Match control requirements to actual contracts, data types, system boundaries, and applicable assessment scope. Support relevant NIST requirements and CMMC obligations through maintained implementation and evidence.
- Maintain tested backups, recovery procedures, and resilience objectives. Conduct incident-response exercises and recovery tests, assign corrective actions, and verify operational follow-through.
- Lead incident preparedness, technical containment, investigation support, and recovery. Escalate material incidents promptly and coordinate required notifications through designated contractual channels within applicable deadlines.
- Own corporate technical standards and technical security policies/procedures within delegated authority. Submit enterprise policy changes through established governance and provide evidence for independent Quality & Compliance review.
- Require corporate production changes to pass appropriate architecture, security, data-owner, change-control, and operational-readiness review, including testing, support/runbook ownership, rollback, monitoring, and lifecycle funding.
