About this role

Why UKG:

At UKG, the work you do matters. The code you ship, the decisions you make, and the care you show a customer all add up to real impact. Today, tens of millions of workers start and end their days with our workforce operating platform. Helping people get paid, grow in their careers, and shape the future of their industries. That’s what we do.

We never stop learning. We never stop challenging the norm. We push for better, and we celebrate the wins along the way. Here, you’ll get flexibility that’s real, benefits you can count on, and a team that succeeds together. Because at UKG, your work matters—and so do you.

About the Team

UKG’s Strategic Positioning and Pursuits team helps UKG win high-value opportunities by creating differentiated, personalized, and memorable selling experiences for executive decision makers. We turn complex business and product stories into customer experiences that build trust, create connection, and move decisions forward. We bring together customer insight, business priorities, product expertise, industry context, and creative craft to help sellers make UKG’s value clear and memorable.

Our work starts with understanding the problem behind the request. We then shape the right way to bring the story to life, whether through an executive narrative, a visual framework, a demonstration, or another experience built for the moment. We partner across UKG to help decision makers see how our values and solutions can make a difference for their organizations.

Every interaction is an opportunity to build trust, deepen connection, and drive growth. We help make those moments count, one conversation and one customer experience at a time.

About the Role

As a Strategic Pursuit Consultant at UKG, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to Sales and Pre-Sales teams, helping shape how UKG engages customers in complex, high-value opportunities. You’ll combine strong business judgment, customer insight, messaging expertise, and creative problem solving to make UKG’s value relevant and memorable for decision makers.

You’ll partner with sellers and cross-functional experts to understand customer priorities, identify what matters most to stakeholders, and develop a distinctive approach to communicating UKG’s value. That approach may include an executive narrative, visual storytelling, a demonstration, an interactive experience, or a combination of formats.

You’ll help teams move beyond the initial request, make complex solutions easier to understand, and create customer experiences that are thoughtful, credible, and distinctly UKG. You’ll also bring customer and field insights back to the Strategic Messaging team to strengthen our content and ways of working.

What You’ll Do

- Generate and develop creative concepts for communicating UKG’s value, refining them with input from sellers, subject matter experts, and customer feedback.
- Help account teams address customer questions, strengthen differentiation, and connect UKG’s solutions to measurable business impact.

Elevate Executive & Customer Engagement

- Support customer engagements with senior stakeholders, including executive sponsors and decision makers.

Strengthen Reusable Content & Continuous Improvement

- Contribute reusable presentation components, proposal content, examples, and guidance that help sellers apply UKG messaging effectively.
- Capture customer questions, seller feedback, competitive patterns, and successful approaches from supported opportunities.
- Recommend improvements to messaging, assets, and workflows based on observed customer and field needs.
- Maintain current knowledge of UKG’s solutions, customer outcomes, approved messaging, and relevant market context.

About You

You’re a curious, resourceful problem solver who enjoys working through ambiguity to find a clear way forward. You look beyond the initial request to understand the business need, connect customer, product, and market insights, and bring fresh ideas to the table. You know when to challenge an assumption, simplify a complex idea, or use a visual or experiential approach to make a message resonate.

You pair creative thinking with practical judgment and strong writing and storytelling skills. You can shape an accurate, audience-specific narrative, explain why it will work, and collaborate with sellers and subject matter experts to bring it to life. You build trust across teams, manage multiple priorities, and keep the customer’s decision and business outcome in view.
