Manager, Technical Product Management

TelevisaUnivision is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to lead product strategy, development, and execution for ViX's Content Management System (CMS), supporting backend engineering teams and driving AI-powered platform transformation.

This technical leadership role combines strategic product management, AI implementation, cross-functional collaboration, and Agile delivery. The position will play a critical role in modernizing editorial and content management workflows, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions, and advancing AI initiatives from experimentation to production-ready capabilities.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (Responsibilities)

·       Define and drive the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for ViX's Content Management System (CMS), with a focus on AI-powered modernization and platform enhancements.

·       Lead the implementation of AI-powered workflows, intelligent automation, and agent-based solutions to improve editorial processes and content management operations.

·       Evaluate and integrate AI technologies, including Gemini, Claude, and other emerging tools, into existing products, platforms, and business workflows.

·       Partner closely with backend engineering teams to define technical requirements, evaluate solutions, and support the development of scalable products and integrations.

·       Translate business objectives and stakeholder needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development priorities.

·       Serve as a primary point of contact for CMS stakeholders, including Content Editorial, Pricing, Marketing, and other teams utilizing or integrating with the platform.

·       Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, as part of broader technical product management responsibilities.

·       Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving backend engineering, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), APIs, and other technical integrations to ensure alignment and timely execution.

·       Manage product development dependencies, priorities, risks, and deliverables across engineering teams and business stakeholders.

·       Utilize Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools to maintain visibility into product development, execution, and delivery.

·       Drive alignment across technical and business teams, communicating product priorities, progress, challenges, and recommendations to key stakeholders.

·       Support continuous improvement initiatives, technical documentation, and process optimization to enhance product delivery and operational effectiveness.

YOU HAVE: (Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience)

·       7+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or related technical product leadership roles.

·       Strong technical foundation with demonstrated ability to engage in complex technical discussions with backend engineering teams.

·       Proven experience defining and executing product strategies, roadmaps, and technical product initiatives.

·       Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing AI-powered workflows, AI agents, or intelligent automation solutions in production environments, beyond proof-of-concept or pilot initiatives.

·       Experience developing AI-enabled products or integrating AI capabilities into existing platforms and business processes.

·       Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and API integrations.

·       Familiarity with AI technologies and platforms such as Gemini, Claude, or comparable solutions.

·       Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including facilitating ceremonies, managing product backlogs, and coordinating engineering delivery.

·       Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and related product and project management tools.

·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.

·       Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical audiences.

·       Professional fluency in English required.

Preferred Experience

·       Previous people management or technical team leadership experience.

·       Experience in media, entertainment, streaming, or digital content platforms.

·       Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), editorial workflows, and content distribution technologies.

·       Experience developing technical documentation, product guides, or user manuals.

·       Professional certifications in Product Management, Agile/Scrum, or Project Management (PMP).

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

·       Must be willing to work in Bogota, Colombia.
