About The Role
As a Project Controls Analyst III , you’ll lead scheduling activities for Southern Company Gas capital projects and programs. You’ll guide schedulers, promote consistent scheduling standards, partner with project teams to identify risks, and help ensure schedules support successful project delivery.
What You'll Bring (Required)
- A bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Business, or Project Management
OR
- Equivalent academic education and experience (at least 5 years).
- Minimum 3-7 years of project scheduling or project management experience.
- Hands-on experience in project controls, scheduling, project management, and/or construction management in a heavy industrial setting.
- Experience leading a team, setting priorities, managing resources, and turning strategic objectives into action.
- Experience juggling multiple projects at once, with strong planning skills and the judgment to know which issues need immediate attention, and which can wait.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Nice to Have (Preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in these areas.
- PMP, PMI-SP, or AACE PSP certification is a big plus!
Where You'll Work
This role is based at Southern Company Gas Headquarters, where you'll work on-site with the team four days per week.
